We are Kelvin and Liz Jacobs and we opened Wild Fish in November 2011. We are excited about local harvests from farms, the ocean, the rivers, the forests and vineyards in Northern California. We get no greater delight than going to our local Farmers Markets and seeing seasonal produce and saying – now what can we make with that back in the kitchen? We love to watch the boats come in Noyo harbor and pick the feistiest, shiniest crabs, the most sparkling, glinting fish and hear the stories from the local suppliers about what’s happening.
We are also avid jazz fans, and you will always hear the best jazz we can find in our restaurant.
We came here from the south west of England where we had a small restaurant also on the sea. We chose the Mendocino Coast because it is everything we need: foodie, arty, outdoorsy and alternative!
