GET HOOKED! Restaurant Week Jan 20-27, 2020

 Our Monterey Bay house-smoked sablefish is just one of the many local fish dishes we are offering this coming Get Hooked! Restaurant Week. The intent of Get Hooked is to spotlight members of our community (from fishermen, to distributors, to chefs, and restaurants) that are involved in getting local catch from boat to forks. It celebrates Monterey Bay’s fishermen and women whose passion for their profession and maintaining the resiliency of our marine environment runs as deep as Monterey Canyon. We will introduce residents and visitors alike to the variety of seafood that’s in season and traceable back to fish ermen. Many of the species, including rock crab, fresh anchovies, black cod, and rockfish such as chilipepper and bocaccio, are often underrepresented on menus and fish counters. A ll the seafood being served is rated either a Best Choice or Good Alternative by the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Seafood Watch program.
